 Comments: Increasing clouds on drive to Soldiers @930 and full overcast by 11:00.

 Comments: Did not see any slides when glassing towards Smokys.
SNOWPACK OBSERVATIONS
 HS:  
 Upper Pack: Firm pencil to knife hard surface crusts (2-10cm) all aspects up to 8200'. Not sure how much higher these were. Below surface was either moist DF or a mix of crusts (water percolating?) in top 30 . S and SE corned up in the morning but SE already started to refreeze with increasing clouds by 1130.
