Observations

East facing slope at 8160 feet
Slope angle about 20 degrees
Snow Depth was 145 cm
Snow profile as follows:
0-30 1f (facets)
30-70 p (rg)
70-100 1f (rg)
100-120 4f (rg)
120-145 f (decomposing facets)

We found thin facet layers at 70 and 75 cm.

Performed a column test with a result of CTN with a progressive compression. There is a presence of weak facet layers in the snowpack.
