Skier was about 10 turns into the run when the slide released a ways above them. They were able to ski off of the slab and onto the bed surface.

A skier triggered this very large avalanche on a N aspect near 9700' in the Grand Prize Gulch drainage on Saturday, 4-23-2022. The slide was over 500' wide and involved several chutes or gullies.
