This large, wide peristent slab avalanche released within the past few days above Hanson Lakes in the northern Sawtooths, likely as a result of new snow and strong winds.

"Earthquake Wall" - Crooked Creek

Had decent light on the ridge extending south from Copper Mtn to the Sawtooths, and did not see any significant activity. Also, continued past the Banner Closure gate to see if the steep W slopes just above the HWY had done anything - which they hadn't. There was one other indistinct crown on the Iron/Goat Cr divide (8300', N) - see photo in media.
