This was a maintenance trip to the Bench Weather Station so observations were limited.

Avalanche Observations
No new wet slides observed near Bench Lakes or glassing from the Stanley RS.
Snowpack Observations
Conditions seemed as forecast based on very limited observations. No new natural wet slides observed by midafternoon.
Talked to a group exiting from the Bench Hut. They found stable conditions and skied steep north-facing terrain. They did not encounter any sensitive wind slabs.
Ran into someone who had skied Senate Peak this morning. They reported a good overnight freeze, breezy conditions on the summit, and good skiing at 11AM. They said they wouldn't have wanted to ski much later.
