Bottom Line

I observed around 40 more large to very large avalanches that released sometime on the night of the 13th through the morning of the 15th. The most impressive slides were along Hyndman Ck and in Deer Ck. The Deer Ck slide impacted a cabin that is under construction.

Crown profile of a very large avalanche along Hyndman Ck. NW aspect at 7,800'. It released sometime around (3/14/23). A crust capped the top of the very weak February facets. The primary failure layer was small facets above this crust.
