Observations

We snowmobiled on the trail to avoid hitting stumps / rocks because HS appeared less than other zones - decided to turn around for this reason. 1PM, OVC sky, L wind, pit at 8800' SW aspect, HS 103cm (surrounding area showed HS ranging from 80-105cm), ETCN35 at 65cm up from ground (only did one ETC). This layer appears to be a crust. Attached are photos of the layering.
