Comments:
I triggered the wind slab from below while riding about 100 yards below after a few turns. My partners, who were further up the ridgeline with a good view of me, radioed to me when they saw the avalanche. I was pretty far below it at that point and going fairly fast, so I was able to stay ahead of it and ride out well ahead of it and to my right. We had a video and could see that the slide was triggered when I was just above the big dead tree above the small cliff in the photo. The crown looked to be about 2 feet.
Did you observe any avalanches?
Yes

Size 1: Relatively harmless to people

Comments:
Same aspect, mid slope, probably a day old. Looked like a point release, very small runout.
None reported
Terrain was likely around 35 degrees where the avalanche began. Wind was light. Riding conditions were good with no obvious signs of wind slab where I dropped in.
Aspect was definitely more East, but some north.
