Skinned up Titus Ridge to Titus Lake Peak. 8-10" of new snowfall, pretty low density in the morning except where somewhat wind-affected on the ridge below the peak. Snow on solar aspects was heating up by midday. Most of this snow seemed to have fallen on bare ground except on shaded N-facing aspects like the Lake Chutes where there might have been a little snow lingering prior to yesterday's storm. No red flags from a stability perspective. Snow depth was sufficient for easy skinning, but of course, early-season hazards existed re skiing. Could find lower-angle pockets with fun, rideable powder without hitting rocks but had to proceed cautiously.
