Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

It was 25 degrees at pullout at 10:30am snowing >S1
Dug A pit 12:30pm at 8020 ft, HS 160cm, E aspect. Light to calm wind. Snowing S-1 to S1. It was snowing most of the day. ECTX, 160-145 F ,145-110 4F, 110-10 1F, 10- ground F (DH rounding and wet could make a ball with them)
With the warmer weather the last couple days the stability seams to be getting better but as you can see there is a huge slab sitting on top of a weak bottom layer. The New Years layer was they just non reactive @110cm. Still am not ready to trust the snowpack still stuck to trees and lower angle skiing.
