We were out from about 9-11 AM. Surface barely froze (if at all) overnight, snow was still moist or damp for 6-18" down (even where surface crust formed overnight) the few places I looked. Low clouds and some snow flurries after 10 AM, but temps were still at or above freezing. We were comfortable retrieving a stuck sled below steep avalanche paths near Indian Head Rock (no threat of natural avalanche activity).
