Happened in the middle of the trees small opening. Skied a roll over into a 35ish degree slope and it made it slide. Was about 20cm deep, 10 ft wide and ran about 20ft. This happened at about 3pm it was very manky snow in this location.Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations
very warm yesterday from the get go in the morning. It had appeared that treed areas did not refreeze from the night before. The trees seem to be keep the heat in. Wind was calm. As the day continued as we got to about 8500ft. The became moderate. Up on ridgeline around 9000ft to near 10,000 ft wind was moderate with strong gusts.
Snow in the trees at lower and moderate elevation was very manky. Did not refreeze it appears overnight. Upper elevation the solar aspects we wet and some appear to have a crust under the top 2-5cm of snow. On North and Northeast aspects in upper elevation was still wind hammered and cold. What little bit of snow there was for being transported was getting moved around along ridge lines.
