Observations

Went up the gut of the south bowl for an adventure . 10-12" of sun affect on south. My dog was punching through so I cut over to the ridge before the top. The ridge had a stiff windslab supportable to boots from east wind? I cut into east bowl and dug a hasty pit at 8400', 28 degrees. 50cm with the dirty layer 20cm down. Didn't notice any facets, <2mm moist to the ground. Got about 200' of good turns down to Headquarters. That was thin and dicey but I skied to the car. My dog hates me now.
