Wet loose activity observed in steep rocky areas above and below cliff bands. Likely 1-2 days old.

Pit dug on N aspect in sheltered area at ~8600 ft. Snow was ~150 cm deep. Observed faceted layers in upper and lower portions of the snow pack. No reactions when performing extended column test. Took significant force with shovel to get column to break and still had limited propagation.
